Our mission is to make a difference for Christ in the world by birthing, equipping, and encouraging disciples of Jesus Christ who are demonstrably different from the world.
To understand who God is calling Oak Cliff Presbyterian Church to be, look to the words of Jesus in John 14:21 --
"They who have my commandments and keep them are those who love me; and those who love me will be loved by my Father, and I will love them and reveal myself to them."
We are not here to change lives -- we are here to be so completely obedient in keeping the commandments that sum up the law:
You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.
You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
that Jesus Christ shows up -- and changes hearts, minds, and lives. We will tend each new soul the Lord births, and bring each one to maturity in Christ so that they may be used by Christ in the world to bring the Kingdom of God closer to earth in Dallas, Texas, and the world.
